Debra S. Frank

The goal and intention of the Family Law Section is to provide relevant programs

regarding family law including crossover programs in related areas; organize monthly

luncheon meetings to network and discuss issues; have joint networking events with

other professionals; a yearly symposium. Presently the section is setting up family law

accounting programs for Family Law lawyers re: "Hot Button issues in the Family Law

Arena."

 

Debra S. Frank was born in Syracuse, New York, and admitted to the California bar in

1977. She is also a member of the District of Columbia bar. She graduated from Boston

University in 1970 with honors. Carnegie Institute of Technology (M.A.,with honors,

1972), and Southwestern University School of Law (J.D., 1977). She is a Certified

Family Law Specialist and is the incoming President of the Century City Bar Association.

She is a member of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (Family Law Section

Executive Committee 1998-, Editor 1998-2000, 2002 of the Family Law Reference Book,

Family Law Mediator 1986-present); State Bar of California (Chair, Family Law Section

Support Committee, South 2000), Member, Family Law Section, Executive Committee,

1995-1999, Secretary-Treasurer for 1996-1998 term; Assistant Editor, Family Law

News, 1995-1997, Editor 1997-1998); Board Member (1999-2001) and Newletter Editor

for the Association of Certified Family Law Specialists (2000-2001).
