CCBA Members Named Top Women Litigators

The Los Angeles and San Francisco Daily Journal has named CCBA President Elect Jane Shay Wald, a partner at Irell & Manella, to its 2010 list of the "Top 100 Women Litigators" in California. Ms. Wald is recognized as being a "leader in trademark infringement suits in federal court and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office." Other CCBA members named to the list include Stacy D. Phillips, of Phillips, Lerner, Lauzon & Jamra, LLP, who was named CCBA's Family Law Lawyer of the Year in 2009; Sharon M. Bunzel, a partner in O’Melveny and Myer’s white collar and corporate investigations practice group; Carolyn Kubota of O’Melveny & Myers, who has handled more than 20 trials, most recently defending corporate executives against civil and criminal charges; and Linda Smith, a partner O’Melveny & Myers, specializing in defending clients in high-stakes governmental actions.
